Dog models needed!
We are looking for dogs to photograph & feature in our upcoming coffee table book! This gorgeous art book showcases “dogs at home” in San Francisco. With this stylish book, we hope to give a glimpse into both a variety of dog breeds & mixes as well as highlighting the diverse architecture & landscape that makes up this wonderful place these dogs call home: The San Francisco Bay Area.
This book is a passion project for Gretchen Adams Photography with the goal of raising awareness for the need to adopt dogs from local shelters & rescue groups. This is why the setting for the shoots are always at your dog’s home, reinforcing the theme of getting dogs OUT of the shelters and into homes of their own.
Portion of the proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to local rescue organizations. But we need your help!
We need people like you who are excited to have their fur baby photographed by an award-winning portrait artist in or around your home in the most exquisite style.
Every shoot is expertly designed & styled to take advantage of your home’s aesthetic assets. The home is simply setting the stage for the star of our show: your dog. Not all sessions will take place inside the home, some will be created around the exterior of your home, or even along the nooks and crannies of your neighborhood.
Just as with our commissioned portrait sessions, we handle all of the styling & direction, allowing you to relax & enjoy the experience (although we do often ask the pet-parents assist with squeakers and treats!) Our studio was named Best Pet Photographer in the East Bay by Diablo Magazine in 2018, as well as receiving the honor of being named Best Portrait Photographer in 2007, 2015, 2016, & 2017, so you can rest assured that we are experts at the craft of artfully creating stunning imagery. We know how to get what we need quickly, making the experience fun for all of our clients (even our 4-legged ones!).
